Joining over seven million Christians from 225 countries and territories, five Ripple Ministry leaders joined the Asia session of Gather25 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on February 29.
This historic 25-hour global broadcast brought together believers from every denomination and generation for prayer, worship, repentance, and a renewed commissioning to spread the Gospel.
Representing Ripple at the event were Head Pastor Atty. Jezrel Perez, Ministry Partner Stella Geraldez, Dipolog Head Outreach Mentor and Preacher Patricia Louise Garcia, and Ministry Workers-Leaders Gabriel Retuya and Kevin Mangubat.
Beyond the physical gathering, Ripple’s Dipolog and Batangas ministries hosted virtual Gather Groups in their centers and offices, while other satellite leaders tuned in from their homes, ensuring a widespread participation across multiple locations.
The story behind Gather25
Gather25 is a global movement to awaken the Church and send out believers to reach the 5.5 billion people who do not yet know Jesus.
Recognizing this urgent need, a group of Christian leaders and organizations envisioned a way to mobilize the global Church like never before.
With today’s technology making it possible to connect believers across nearly every nation, every denomination, and every generation, the idea for Gather25 that it would be a simultaneous global event — one Church, one mission, one moment in history — took shape.
Over the course of 25 hours, different continents would lead sessions featuring testimonies, worship, and a collective sending out of workers into the harvest.
Ripple’s takeaway
Ripple’s leaders walked away from Gather25 with a renewed passion for stewarding their platform for Kingdom work.
“This event was a reminder that everything we do — our business, our leadership, and even our daily tasks — should be an act of worship and service to God,” Perez stressed.
Perez added that Ripple is called to excellence, not for recognition, and to reflect the character of Christ in its work.
Gather25 reinforced Ripple’s mission of faith-driven leadership and transformation. True to its main agenda, the company is not just a platform for employment but also for lives transformed through the Gospel.
“We are not just hiring people. We are not just a business — we are a company that preaches the Word of God," Geraldez said.
Meanwhile, the urgency of the Great Commission also hit home. For Garcia, Gather25 reminded them that they cannot be passive in sharing the Gospel.
“We must be intentional, whether through our ministries, our business, or our daily interactions. We often think we have time, but there are billions who have never heard of Jesus,” Garcia said.
Ripple’s leaders have already begun implementing the lessons they learned at the gathering, with vision-casting sessions planned in the coming weeks.
Moreover, the ministry leaders are also exploring new ways to maximize digital platforms for evangelism, inspired by Gather25’s use of technology to unite believers worldwide.
