RIPPLE NEWS: CEO Jez Motivated New Trainees during the First Week of Ripple Cebu Satellite Training

The workshop started on November 14, 2022, with a group devotion with the Mission Core Team, delivered by Shana Manzano based on the book of Acts 14:21-25. Next, the training was highlighted with a sharing of the first Foundational Truth, known as "The Greater Value of Life," delivered by Melvie Ayacaide. It was followed by a VA Training, "Mind-setting and Ins & Outs of Ripple" by Shana Manzano. Afterward, all the new VA trainees expressed their takeaways after hearing the messages. The day concluded with a Post Training Assessment by sharing personal insights.

The following day, the Mission Core Team opened with a group devotion titled "The Danger of Hiding", which can be found in Genesis 3:8-9. Faith Rubin delivered the 2nd Foundational Truth: The Greater Value of Mentorship when the training program commenced. It emphasized to the trainees how important mentorship is and that this is non-negotiable here at Ripple. After that, they discussed the Must Have Tools of a VA, and Stella Geraldez went through different categories of tools that a VA must be aware of. The VAs created a name tag using Canva to express their creativity and personality. The last part was the Post-Assessment Activity, wherein the trainees identified areas in which they could be 1% better. This was also the first of the Ministry Training exclusive only for the Cebu Management Team with the topic "Praise and Worship 101", wherein the team learned the importance of praise and worship.

The 3rd day, November 16, 2022, began with a group devotion with the Mission Core Team delivered by Resyl Jane, entitled “Being Committed to God’s Purpose”. The training was initiated by singing songs of praise and worship led by Liezel T. Lumiguid. After that, Arvie Silvano Buenaflor delivered the 3rd Foundational Truth: The Greater Value of Obedience where it was emphasized that obedience to God results from His unchanging love for us. Then, there was VA Training with the topic of The Basic Canva Skills by our trainer Faith Rubin. They were taught about the different features of Canva and the skills needed as they do graphic designing. They presented their "mood board" output and shared their reflections from the foundational truth training. The last part was a Post-Assessment Activity wherein the group identified its mark and what areas to be 1% better in. It ended with the Business Training about Human Resource by Ripple Main's COO, Shana Manzano, exclusive only for the Cebu Management Team.

On the 4th day, a group devotion entitled "Advancement of the Gospel" was held with the Mission Core Team delivered by CEO Jez Perez. It reminds everyone that to advance the Gospel, one must be (1) chained for Christ, (2) unmoved by trivial matters, and (3) conduct oneself worthy of the Gospel. The training commenced with singing songs of praise and worship led by the Cebu Management Team, Miss Lea. After that, Leo Mark delivered the 4th Foundational Truth: The Greater Value of Work which explains that God created us for work and to work for His glory; work must be a platform to advance God's agenda on earth. The VA Training topic was The Basics of Branding by Miss Faith Rubin, which described the importance of branding in business. Afterward, the trainees did a practical exercise to test their skills in branding. The last part was a Post-Assessment Activity wherein the group identified its mark and what areas to be 1% better in. The Ministry Training about "What is Ministry and Homiletics Part 1" by Ripple Main's CFO, Miss Melvz Ayacaide, was exclusive to the Cebu Management Team.

On November 18, 2022, the training wrapped the foundational truth on the "Greater Value of Relationship" delivered by CMO and Ministry Partner Stella Geraldez, while a VA training on the "Basic of Admin Task" by CISO, Cath Ayacaide was done. It was followed by a practical exercise, then an awarding ceremony for the Early Bird award and VA Trainee of the Day. Finally, the Mission Core Team and Cebu Management Team conducted a leader table, post-training assessment, and ministry training to inspire the trainees on the new learning, wisdom, and an undeniable experience with God.

According to Perez, "And just like that, first week of training was over! It's amazing what one week of training can do to the lives of our new trainees… At this point, we have clearly seen the amazing improvement of our trainees in terms of their output and their deeper understanding and reflection of the Word of God."

As of this writing, Ripple Cebu Satellite Training has reached Day 14 of VA Training on December 1, 2022. And it continues to endeavor Ripple by singing praise and worship songs, sharing messages and foundational truths of God, and training the VAs through various topics and post-assessment activities.
